Film crew on location
Such members of a film crew as an actor, producer, director or technician essential to the production of the film can apply for entry clearance if the intend to come to the UK.
If you are going to do studio work, pre- or postproduction work or you are going to be employer you will need a separate work permit.
If you already hired and paid overseas as a film actor, producer, director or technician and come to the UK only due location needs you can come to the UK.
Your permission is usually valid for a period up to 12 months and can be extended for a film purposes.
