Au Pair
There is a possibility for young person between 17 and 27 to come to the UK to learn English and to stay with the family helping around the house and taking care of the kids.
Au Pair visas can be issued for the period up to two years. The person should be unmarried and have no dependants. Usually Au Pairs are provided with pocket-money. They have to attend institute at least twice a week to extend their knowledge of English.

* Nationals of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Republic of Croatia, Macedonia, Romania and Turkey must get entry clearance from their British Embassy or Consulate before they travel to the United Kingdom.
Changing host families
You can change the receiving family within the period your visa is valid. New family should fit the the requirements of the Immigration Rules. If you change the family note that the period of visa validations does not change.
